Patrick Holdmeyer
Vice President & General Manager Business Unit
Patrick is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in the HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) industry. His broad range of experience managing multiple functional areas, including sales, marketing, and business development led to the successful launch of KE2 Therm Solutions in 2009. As the Founder of KE2 Therm, Patrick’s entrepreneurial spirit and leadership has attracted a talented and diversified team of resources that are driving rapid growth and market acceptance of digital control solutions for commercial refrigeration applications.
Patrick’s expectation is for KE2 Therm to be recognized as an industry leader delivering technologically advanced products that are easy to use, and for providing superior technical applications support to customers, before and after the sale.
With Distech Controls’ acquisition of KE2 Therm in May of 2023, Patrick joined the Leadership Teams of Distech and Intelligent Spaces Group to guide the integration of KE2 Therm’s refrigeration solutions within ISG’s vision of complete edge to cloud solutions for better building management.

Jeff Kavanagh
Sales Director
Jeff is a veteran sales and marketing specialist with over 28 years’ experience in the development of strategies for a variety of commercial HVACR markets. He earned an MBA in Marketing Strategy, and has years of relationship building with contractors, wholesalers, and OEMs, leaving him uniquely qualified to lead the Sales team at KE2 Therm.
Jeff continues to work closely with Product Management, Regional Sales Engineers, and Technical Support personnel, ensuring the team is providing value at all levels in the industry – from OEM, to Contractor, to End-User. During his time at KE2 Therm Jeff has developed sales & marketing initiatives that are a win-win, for KE2 Therm, and our customers.

Steve’s Information Technology experience spans 24 years. He currently holds two U.S Patents (Secure Communication Network) and has several industry certifications in software development, network security, network engineering and infrastructure analysis.
Steve’s innovative approach to network security led him to develop a revolutionary system design that was the first of its kind. His unique concepts were published in InfoWorld and Network World. Steve’s Enterprise Information Technology experience coupled with several years of embedded platform development and security, provides a highly unique ability.
His career includes work for KE2 Connect\KE2 Therm Solutions, Parker Hannifin, Sporlan Valve, Westcott Communications, as well as other consulting work in various industries. The depth of experience that Steve brings is an instrumental part of our objective to provide customized solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.
